SxSW Panel Web Trafficked: From Victim to Inmate

On Tuesday March 15, 2016, Right4Girls hosted a panel at SXSW in Austin, Texas entitled Web Trafficked: From Victim to Inmate. The panel was moderated by Rights4Girls Executive Director Yasmin Vafa, and explored how the internet is fueling the sexual abuse to prison pipeline for girls. Our panel featured trafficking & juvenile justice system survivor advocates, as well as a review of the photo series “Girls in Justice” by Richard Ross, which reflects on the experiences of girls in the juvenile justice system.
